Sports car manufacturer Ferrari honored Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) on June 26 by giving TCS the company's Innovation Award. Since 2004, the companies have collaborated on automotive engineering to ensure the Italian firm's preeminence in Formula 1 racing. Tata software controls the race cars and also helps Ferrari plan racing strategy on a simulated track. S. Ramadorai, TCS Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director, noted that "The F1 car is the most advanced automobile in the market and this award is a tribute to the work of our team of engineers who are helping as a seamless unit with the engineering and technology team from Ferrari." Mr. Ramadorai recently visited Clermont County for the grand opening of TCS's delivery headquarters in Miami Township.
