To give its students an opportunity to learn about engineering careers, a national program called Project Lead the Way is being extended to Milford High School students through a partnership with Great Oaks Institute of Technology and Career Development. The program provides students with a hands-on approach to the field of engineering. The first class, Introduction to Engineering Design, is being offered this year to sophomores, juniors, and seniors. The entire program will be completely implemented over the next couple of years.
The classes are taught at Milford High School by Great Oaks teachers.
