On March 17, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) inaugurated its North American Delivery Center called TCS Seven Hills Park. Governor Ted Strickland joined TCS management including S. Ramadorai, CEO and Managing Director, in opening the facility with a ribbon cutting and traditional Indian lamp lighting ceremony.
TCS is a leading provider of IT services and business solutions and Seven Hills Park will be the company's largest location in the U.S. The building's 200,000 square feet of office space will accommodate 1,000 TCS associates. The facility will serve as the primary software development and delivery center for North American customers. The campus will also showcase a TCS innovation lab, customer network operations center, and briefing centers.
Commenting on the new facility, Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director N. Chandrasekaran said, "After extensive research for the best location for our North American campus, we selected Cincinnati and the Ohio region as it met all of our criteria in terms of proximity to customers, strong talent pool, and a significant economic base that includes 10 Fortune 500 companies." Governor Strickland noted that "Ohio prides itself on our business-friendly environment...We are excited that TCS has decided to make this significant long-term investment, making Ohio home to the newest and fastest-growing sectors of the economy."
Clermont Commission President Bob Proud echoed those sentiments when he said, "We are extremely pleased to welcome Tata to Clermont County. Our county is aggressively working to be a strong player in economic development locally, nationally, and internationally."
