Milacron Inc. is consolidating its headquarters operation at its manufacturing facility on Half Acre Road in Williamsburg Township. Milacron manufactures plastic processing and metal cutting machinery as well as industrial fluids, employing nearly 1,000 people in Greater Cincinnati.
In mid-June, the company announced that it will move its corporate offices from Cincinnati to the plant in the Afton area. The move will bring 60 new employees to the facility, which makes plastic injection molding, blow molding, and extrusion machinery. New staff will include senior management, finance, legal, HR, and PR departments.
Milacron is also planning significant investments in green technology. The company plans to expand capacity in its Mt. Orab facility where it manufactures components for alternative energy products.
