Kennedy Creative, a strategy and design firm for consumer packaged goods, has relocated its downtown Cincinnati office to the banks of the Ohio River in New Richmond. Housed in the historic RiverHills Bank building (formerly New Richmond National Bank), Kennedy Creative employs six people and anticipates hiring two more design professionals in the near future.
Matthew Kennedy, CEO of Kennedy Creative, said several factors contributed to the relocation. A New Richmond resident, Kennedy wanted to adopt more sustainable business practices, and will reduce his company's carbon footprint by locating closer to home. Additionally, he stated "Nowhere in downtown Cincinnati can you access views of the Ohio River like you can in New Richmond. The village is also undergoing a real renaissance now with arts, culture, and tourism, which makes it an exciting place for creative people to be."
Because of New Richmond's close proximity to I-275, Kennedy Creative will still be an integral resource to the Cincinnati business community with only a short 20-minute drive to downtown. United Dairy Farmers and Kroger are two local Cincinnati clients of Kennedy Creative.
