Since 2000, enrollment at UC Clermont has increased 48 percent. The 2008-2009 academic year's enrollment increase was in the double-digits: fall, 10%; spring, 12%; and 18% for summer. These increases were the highest of any two-year regional campus in Ohio.
"The growth we've seen on campus is tremendous. More than ever it means that we are a vital resource for our community and partner in workforce development," said Dean James F. McDonough.
Currently, the college is seeking space in the nearby community to accommodate the expansion of the allied health programs and will be finalizing those plans soon. UC Clermont hopes to build the next 50,000 square-foot building in the next few years.
Current enrollment is 3,318 students and UC Clermont has projected a Fall 2009 enrollment increase of 15 percent. To learn more about UC Clermont and the programs it offers, visit its web site here.
