Ties to the community are important to Mike Castrucci. So when General Motors management approached Castrucci Chevrolet to relocate, Mike convinced them that Milford was the best place for his dealership. It helped that for three years running, Castrucci Chevrolet has been named the #1 Volume Dealer in the Tri-state.
Instead of relocating, Castrucci agreed to build a new $3.2 million new car showroom as well as a sales office and used car showroom. Due to site limitations, the new buildings had to be built in the same location as the existing ones. The complexity of construction staging to keep the dealership and service center open during construction led the Castrucci management team to put together an experienced consultant team of Milford firms. Roberts Engineering, Inc. undertook the geotechnical and site design components, while G.J. Berding Surveying completed the initial survey and construction staking.
"It was important for us to hire local firms that knew our operations and facilities, as well as the Milford building and zoning codes," says Ron Burke, Castrucci's Director of Fixed Operations. A total of sixteen Clermont County businesses were part of the Castrucci Chevrolet project from the planning stages through the final details of framing wall artwork.
