Buffalo Wings & Rings opened its international training center at Eastgate Mall, only miles from its new corporate headquarters in Union Township.
The training center will be a restaurant in the mall's food court that can also be accessed from outside the mall, since it will operate outside the mall's hours. This facility will serve as the restaurant training center for all franchisees worldwide.
Buffalo Wings & Rings was recognized in July as the fastest growing privately-held restaurant chain in the nation by Restaurant Business magazine. This restaurant is its 43rd location.
"Buffalo Wings & Rings has engineered tremendous growth and transformation in 2008. Our new corporate headquarters and state-of-the-art training center create a solid foundation for us to grow and prosper in 2009 and beyond," said CEO Philip Schram in a news release.
Already experiencing record breaking growth, Buffalo Wings & Rings is poised to continue that growth next year. Despite challenging economic times, it plans to open 25 additional restaurants, focusing on strong growth areas from the Great Lakes to Florida, across the Sun Belt, and along the West Coast.
