Three Clermont companies received Manny awards at Cincy Magazine's 4th annual signature event on June 2nd at Xavier University's Cintas center. The Manny awards celebrate those companies who achieved excellence in manufacturing, even through the economic downturn. The Clermont award winners were Mil Air, Melink Corporation, and Pro Mach.
Mil Air, located in Miami Township, was a recipient in the Biggest Breakthrough category for its work in designing and building heavy duty air conditioners for military and marine environments.
Union Township-based Melink also received a Biggest Breakthrough Manny award. Melink was acknowledged for its LEED Platinum status and being a leader in renewable energy solutions.
Pro Mach, whose corporate headquarters is located in Miami Township, was recognized in the Green category. The packaging company has piloted several packaging changes aimed at reducing waste in consumer products.
