All ten Clermont County public school systems have been rated "Effective" or higher per the Ohio Department of Education's annual school report card system for 2008-2009. Five of the ten school systems are rated "Excellent", with one receiving the highest honor of "Excellent with Distinction". No Clermont school system fell into the "Continuous Improvement" category. The five districts rated excellent are:
Felicity Franklin, Loveland, Milford (excellent with distinction), New Richmond, and West Clermont.
