Aggreko, Inc., a global leader in temporary utility systems, has leased the former Sauls Construction Company building located at 1533 Old State Route 74 to house the Cincinnati area service center. Previously located in Sharonville, this new location is strategically located to major highways for improved distribution. The site offers the unique shop and yard space requirements needed to meet Aggreko's business demands, as well as additional space to support its growing business. The Cincinnati service center is set to open November 15th.
The service center currently employs 10 sales people and technicians. Revenues have grown over 215% since 2005. Over the past two years employment has grown about 20% and Aggreko expects 10% in growth over the next two years.
Recently, Aggreko was onsite during the Ryder Cup in Louisville, Kentucky supplying temporary power generation and temperature control systems throughout the Valhalla golf course. For this international sports event, the Cincinnati area service center had a dedicated crew of technicians onsite and supplied its quiet GHP2 and TwinPack generators, which are designed specifically for golf and event business. The Ryder Cup took place during the same time frame that Hurricane Ike brought wind surges throughout the region. With the support of its network of service centers across the nation, Aggreko was able to keep its equipment and manpower commitment to the Ryder Cup, as well as focus the rest of its resources where the recovery need was greatest. Aggreko supplied five megawatts of power throughout the golf course, which was never lost throughout the storm.
Aggreko works with a variety of customers from special events to chemical plants and hospitals to manufacturing plants. Any business that can benefit from a temporary utility solution is a potential partner for Aggreko. Aggreko provides 24/7 availability and service support with approximately 3,000 employees operating from over 120 locations. To find out more about Aggreko, visit its website.
