On Wednesday, September 26, the Ohio Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at the Clermont Chamber of Commerce will host a free workshop on business taxes for small businesses. Doug Kossel, an enrolled agent with over 20 years of experience, will speak on tax regulations, deductions, and procedures for all types of small business entities.
The all-day workshop will provide current and prospective business owners with the necessary information to file income tax returns. Mr. Kossel will answer tax questions and will provide tips to lower and simplify taxes. Topics covered will include State of Ohio sales tax, personal property taxes, and employment taxes and withholdings. It also will provide participants the opportunity to learn about business use of the home.
Attendance is free but limited to 25 participants. Participants are asked to register by calling the Clermont Chamber at (513) 576-5000. The event will run from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm in the Collegiate Room of the Union Township Civic Center at 4350 Aicholtz Road, Cincinnati, OH 45245. This event is presented by the Ohio SBDC in conjunction with the IRS and Ohio Department of Taxation.
