Total Quality Logistics (TQL) was recognized at the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber's Growth Awards on March 20 as one of the regions premier growth companies. The logistics provider was nominated for the award by Clermont County because of the company's investment in a new $15 million headquarters building at Ivy Pointe.
TQL's new corporate headquarters will provide the company with room to continue its breathtaking growth. Starting with just two founders in 1997, the company currently has more than 670 employees. The TQL team has welcomed 83 new professionals since the beginning of 2007 and expects to hire over 400 more by the end of the year. President and CEO Ken Oaks sees his employees as a key to TQL's ongoing success. "Recruiting is one of our top priorities at TQL. We are committed to investing in our strongest assets, our employees, and we continually strive to hire only the best candidates for our positions."
Recognition by the Cincinnati Chamber at its growth awards is just one in a string of accolades that TQL has garnered recently. In 2006, the company was named Transportation Sales Organization of the year, one of Greater Cincinnati's Best Places to Work, a Fast 55 Company, and one of Inc. magazine's 500 fastest growing businesses.
