The U.S. Department of Commerce and State of Ohio's International Trade Division are conducting a series of seminars to help American businesses expand into foreign markets. The next seminar focused on doing business in South America will be held 8 am - 3 pm on March 21 in Miami Township's Park 50.
American trade representatives in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile will provide trade tips on exporting to those countries. The seminar provides an overview of trade opportunities in these emerging markets. Topics to be covered include the Chile Free Trade Agreement, a healthcare technologies trade mission to Brazil and Chile, and other upcoming trade show opportunities.
The seminar will be held at 502 TechneCenter Drive in Park 50. A complete agenda and registration are available online at www.buyusa.gov/greatlakes/southamerica.html. More information is also available from Peggy Toschlog who can be reached at (513) 684-2944 or Penny.Toschlog@mail.doc.gov. Companies are encouraged to submit specific market or industry questions by March 7 so that Department of Commerce industry specialists can address them at the seminar.
