The secret is out. Total Quality Logistics (TQL) is one of the best places to work in Greater Cincinnati. The company was selected from among 130 nominees in a survey sponsored by the Cincinnati Business Courier and Dinsmore & Shohl.
TQL is a third-party logistics provider that is currently constructing new headquarters in Ivy Pointe Commerce Park in Union Township. The company expects to move its current staff of more than 600 into the new building in March 2007.
TQL was one of four finalists in the "grand" category for companies with over 500 employees. It shared that recognition with finalists Northern Kentucky University, Elizabeth Medical Center, and the winner in the large company category, Cincinnati Children's Hospital.
TQL has experienced steady growth since its founding in 1997. The company expects to employee at least 1,000 within three years. Recognition as a great place to work is based on anonymous online surveys of employees. One TQL employee responding to the survey said, "The environment for young, energetic people here is phenomenal!"
