Miami Twp-based Cold Jet, a leading supplier of dry ice blast cleaning equipment, introduced a new Aero series of systems dry ice blast cleaning systems in February. The new technology provides more economical cleaning for a variety of applications. "Our technology has been built with more than 20 years of research and development, and is proven effective in cleaning hundreds of applications," said Gene Cooke, Cold Jet's CEO. The advantage of dry ice blasting is that it is nonabrasive and environmentally friendly because it doesn't leave secondary waste like sand blasting.
